We're going to the PLAYOFFS!!!

That's right, the Chumado's are heading to the Playoffs. We never thought this day would come but it has. The team has played well together all season. They have shown the others how they can dominate and it has all paid off. Here is what will happen:

On Saturday, August 6th the Chumado's will play Forrester at 1:40pm at Cabin John field #3. The Chumado's are a division III team and we will be playing a division II team. Forrester's record at the end of the season was 10-4 and our record at the end of the season was 9-4-1.

Directions:
Cabin John Regional Park (Westlake Drive)Take the Beltway west from Silver Spring to I-270 north.Take the Old Georgetown Road exit - Bear right onto Old Georgetown Rd.Go left onto Tuckerman Lane, then left onto Westlake Drive.Make a right into the Ice Rink parking lot, follow around to the right and find the appropriate field.

We will play a minimum of two games on Saturday and a maximum of four depending on how we do. It is a two game elimination. If (when) we advance we will continue playing on Sunday as early as 9am and as late as 12:30pm. We look forward to winning the playoffs and most importantly all of the support we can get from our 'fans'! Have a great weekend and GO CHUMADO'S!!!!

I can't believe it's Thursday already! Where has this week gone. First things first, the Chumado's play tonight at 7:15pm against the Mighty Dux. WE MUST WIN! The game is at Aspen Field #3. The Directions are as follows:

Aspen Hill Field (5013 Baltic Avenue)
Beltway to Georgia Avenue towards Wheaton.
Follow Georgia until you bear left onto Viers Mill Road.
Follow Viers Mill approx. 4 miles and turn right onto Aspen Hill Rd.
Make an immediate left onto Adrian St. then curve to the right onto Baltic Ave. The Fields are on the left.

Now, the next point of business. Our little Tracy is currently in London. I haven't heard from her since today's crazy events there but I have emailed her sister and I am awaiting a response. I'm sure that Tracy and her family are just fine but may be a little shaken up. I'll let you know if I hear from her. Can't wait to see you all tonight cheering on the Chumado's!
