HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGIE!!!!

Last weekend most of the Moreno's headed out to southern Maryland to join Jal and John's annual Breton Bay "Beach" party. It was a scorcher but the breeze from the bay and the cold drinks made everything better! All the crazy people that like to get very hot and sweaty spent most of the day playing volleyball. Some of the smarter lot spent time swimming in the bay, in the pool, laying in the shade and taking turns out on the kayak or Larry's boat. Even Lucy the dog took her first swim in the bay!

We thank all the Baltz's for inviting us and having us at their party again this year. A great time was had by all. Below are some of the pictures taken on Saturday. If you click on them you can see all of the pictures (there are a lot) and some of the video's taken that day too. Enjoy!

Chumado's Softball

This Thursday is the last Chumado's game of the season. Please come out and support the team at 7:15pm at Layhill Field #1 and at the Pub immediately following the game. Directions are below.

LAYHILL LOCAL (14901 Layhill Road)
From the Beltway:
Beltway to Georgia Ave. exit toward Wheaton, through Wheaton, past University Blvd., and Randolph Rd. to Layhill Rd. (182). Turn right onto Layhill and go approximately 4 miles to park on right.

From Gaithersburg:
LAYHILL LOCAL (14901 Layhill Road) Take 270 south to Route 28 east. Follow Route 28 for several miles. Cross Baur Drive, cross Georgia Avenue (Rt. 97). Go right on Layhill Road. Park entrace will be on left near a small bridge.
Or
After you cross Georgia Ave. (Rt. 97), you may be able to save some time by turning right onto Wintergate Dr. Stay straight on Wintergate through the traffic circle. Wintergate ends at Layhill Rd. Turn left onto Layhill, then make an immediate right into the park.

Grandma

On Monday, Grandma, Grandma Hilda, Spanish Grandma, GG, or whatever you call her, will be leaving for Ecuador!

Mariana and Roger will host a "going away" dinner at their house on Saturday at 6pm. We hope everyone can make it.

Have a wonderful trip and safe travels Grandma! We can't wait until you return!

This week the Chumado's play a double header on Thursday, July 10th at 6:15 and 7:15, Aspen Hill Field #3 for both. Team members, please let coach William know if you'll be unable to make it to one or both games. We hope that everyone else will make it out to cheer us on!
