It's been a long time...
So, first of all I want to apologize for the lack of postings here on the Moreno Family Site. The last few weeks have been very busy and, can you believe it, they have been actually making me WORK at my job!! Don't they know I have a blog to keep updated? Obviously NOT!
Anyway, a lot has been going on in the world of the Chumado's and the Moreno's. We had our end of season party and awards assembly for the Chumado's at Freddy, MVP, Moreno's house. Joey B won MVC - an honor only the most prestigious Chumado's of the past have gained. There were beautiful trophies and Jal even made every Chumado their own softball card! It was a lot of fun. William put together a very high-tech power point presentation and all of our team members, even the one's that don't actually play, were honored!
The Chumado's fall league season began 3 weeks ago and we haven't lost a game yet. We almost lost some players...can you say "UMP, are you BLIND"? that's all I'll say about that...Let's hope that the Chumado's go undefeated during this fall season.
Another big event was Joey "Donkey Boy" Loritzen's 30th birthday. He is officially an old Chumado. There was a great shin dig for him at he and William's house. Michelle, her family, William and the gang made sure there was plenty of WONDERFUL food, lots of tasty beverages and lots of laughs and good times. I believe that Joey and William were significantly Chumado by the end of the night! And one of the highlights of the evening was the "Joey head" pinata that John and Jal made for Joe. Hilarious!
Well, I promise the next update will not take this long in the future! Until next time, enjoy some of the pictures from our latest events...
