First, I want to apologize for not updating the site in some time. I was sick, got a flat tire, ummm had to work late, got food poisoning - something like that...With that said, there are lots of things to talk about.

Last week the Chumado's tied! That's right, tied...It was an 8pm game and it was getting late so the ump decided that we would end the game where we were at the time and that was at 14 - 14. I guess this isn't considered a loss so it's a good thing, but winning is much more fun!

Last night the Chumado's played the Slump Busters at North Chevy Chase field, mostly in the rain which was surprisingly nice being that it was muggy and hot, and WON 18 - 12. Now that's more like it Chumados!! We were back on track and even had some surprise guests, Noah Moreno, Jay Rupert and Dave Duggan to cheer us on. And of course, our trusty, weekly cheering section John and Jal were there to support us. Thanks guys!

And that brings me to this past holiday weekend's events. Most of the Chumado's and lots of friends gathered at the John and Jal Baltz family beach house on Sunday, July 3rd for some good food, laughs, lots of fun in the sun and some added surprises. See, when I say John and Jal Baltz it's not a typo. Once at the party it was announced that John and Jal made it official last week in a private ceremony. And when I say private, I mean private. Honestly, we're all very happy for them. They did it the way they wanted, with the people they wanted there (themselves) and now, the pressure is off and it's just time to party and celebrate the newly exchanged vows.

Now, if you know this crew, and most of you should, we couldn't let them get off that easily. And so an impromptu wedding ceremony was quickly arranged and performed in front of the people that love John and Jal the most. The officiant was Mr. Fred Fox Moreno, Sean Johnston gave the lovely bride away, and the ever talented Victoria Moreno acted as wedding photographer. All in all the day was a blast. We can't wait for the next invitation to the Baltz beach house (hint, hint) and as you will see from the pictures below a great time was had by all. Enjoy the pic's. Until next time...
